Voting System

Dancing With The Stars voting system...now I can say that it is pure entertainment, with the reviving of a lost art...and they have allowed the "stars" to either prolong their careers or start 'em up...and they want you to be involved by voting for a portion of the decision of who wins...BUT...they don't tell you how the votes are counted or how the votes determine the % that the dancers get...yet, you the public, vote...blindly...and for the first time in the show's inception, you have an unworthy participant, in the finals...and very well could win...who knows?  Hanging chads, anyone?
BSBCS...I  think you know where I'm going with all this today...when the NCAA champ is decided by a vote, there is something wrong with the system...the BSBCS uses a conglomerate of computer voting...the corrupt collegiate FB keeps it's bowl system so the collegiate prezs can count on the $ to keep their schools afloat...and keep their jobs...
OK, I'm rolling...music award shows...I watched your Justin Bieber perform last night...and to put it bluntly, he was awful...and yet he wins the performer of the year?  Based on what?  Why don't these shows ever publish the votes?  If in fact, that's what they count...the CMA's...same stuff...Miranda Lambert?  Really?
The Oscars...the Academy votes...OMG..stuff it...
Just publish what the votes are...give us a hard count...or are we going to use what this great country uses to elect our prez...you may win the popular vote, but it's the electoral college that gets the job done...just to make sure the commoner gets what he or she SHOULD get...
Is this happening on reality TV. too?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
