Wack Wednesday

Egads...So there is a truth that if a player makes an error in MLB, it always leads to a run or more scored...when an umpire blows a call, it is a certainty...happened last night as the 1st base ump blew an out call, and promptly, the next Met hit a dinger...and put the game out of reach...still, the thought lingers, can the Padres beat a quality pitcher?  Today another Q, in Johan Santana...we're there and we'll see...if a V, another series win...
OMG...the rock steady duo of Al and Tipper...yup, the Gores...are separating...my guess it got too green for Tipper around the casa...and by the way, they just bought an 8.9 million dollar one up the coast...
Why, you betcha...I got me one of them new fangled ipads...unbelievable!!!  Without a doubt, the coolest thing that has come out to date...books, mags, email, ...the graphics and HD are well,  incomparable...it syncs to my Macbook and I spent a good portion of the day playing with it...go down to the Apple store and check it out...I know you'll buy one...you don't need any more than the base model...it has 16 GB...with a Wi-Fi...
The Lakers-Celtics series cranks up tonight...these games I watch...how many T's will Sheed get?  Will the Serb go off?  Think the Big Ticket will punch Gasol's arm?  Can they stop King Kobe?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
