Oom Pow Pow

So did you like your last night version of Idol?  The final three comes down to who I had predicted....Crystal (pictured), Lee, and Goldilocks...with the outcome surely in doubt...the best always wins?  Not really, case in point when the silver headed guy beat K McPhee, and last season, when whatever his name is, beat Adam Lambert...really, it is so hard to get radio time if you win or not...the best audience is the country one, pop is the worst...that's why Kelly Clarkson's success is so amazing...Carrie is just great and that's all there is to that...can any of the three make it?  Really tough call...

Watched a PBS documentary on Jim Morrison and the Doors...if you haven't seen it you must...they were together 4 and 1/2 years and his demise ended their reign...he was on a dead end mission from the beginning of his tenure with the band...so tragic as their sound was unbelievable...

The Padres...this blogger forcasted the  emergence of this group, as you know...now, the rest of the country is joining in...Sports Illustrated has hit the stage with their take...it'll grow...SD popped SF again last eve with the "O" doing a bit more damage, along with the superlative pitching, and won another series...the best record in the National League...AND, this without AGonzo helping much...it's the nature of the game...

And now, this is Survivor night...can Russell continue his dastardly ways?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
