Hey,  Lance Armstrong, isn't that your FRIEND,  Floyd Landis, throwing you under the bus?  In a very creepy world of bicycling, one of his team mates said that his buddy, too, was drugging while performing...I know it's a big deal (bikers) in Europe, but not so much around here...like the game of soccer (boooooring)...nothing surprises me about PEDS...
My under-achieving fantasy team just picked up...the one and only...DH from the Red Sox...David Ortiz...
Talk about futility....the Pads go up to Seattle and lay a huge egg...still trying the arm of Lefty Ramos...who gave up 7 more runs in one inning....after doing the similar fate a week ago in SF...just when does Buddy go out and save him and us from this non-sacred cow...
A bit of a save from the stocks yesterday as the European market still affects ours...
I vowed that when we sell our Orygun home we are going on a month long stint to Europe...you know this is a huge deal as I'm not the world's best flyer...
So much talk about where LeBron James is going to end up next season...my only fear is that it's going to be in LA...c'mon NY and Chicago, do your thing...more sense may be that he'll move it to Florida or Texas, where there is no state tax...the lands where all the very rich golfers reside...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
