The 10th version of Dancing With The Stars crowned the right one....Nicole Scherzinger (sp) of the Pussycat Dolls...the right thing about how this is judged is that the judges have a vote in the outcome...note that, Russell the Rat, late of Survivor...her pro, Derek Hough , is an innovator at his craft...
Idol...watched the taped version...like to think that Crystal won the event by her singing...BUT...there a lot of voters, that have their own agenda...and, as I have been saying for a while now...neither one of them are that good...tonight's show will probably be more about Simon leaving than crowning the champ or champress...
CSN last night...absolutely a fantastic show...highlight?  has to be the rocking guitar of Stephen Stills...he kind of reminded us of a mad scientist as he strummed the strings as well as anyone ever in the biz...the group did a set acappella of covers...so fun to hear the stuff they put out....and they say they are going to release a CD of them...cool...
Wouldn't be a blog if I didn't comment about the team that has the best record in the National League...yup, our Padres...another 1-0 win over St. Louie...man, our pitchers are tough, tough, tough....on the other end of the spectrum, AGonzo whiffed all 4 times he came to the plate...what???
Los Suns surprised me with another win at home against the Lakers...didn't watch it so I can't comment...
Finally,  Lea Michele (Glee) has to release a cd of her stuff...going to be the next star...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
