The Masters

The grand daddy of them all...the Masters...it's already going and we don't get to see it 'til later on...for all of the glory of it,  it is also steep in ugly...it's in the deep south and has kept that alive for a long time...finally, things have changed and , well, it's about time...but they control what's on, when, and why...
Regardless of that all, it is beautiful and something I want to go to badly...that, the Kentucky Derby, and Nashville...maybe next year?
My favorite to win?  I think it's gotta be Ernie Els...long and and on fire...Tiger?  maybe...Lefty?  Nope...he's been struggling....sit back and enjoy...talk about fast greens...
The Padres...poor outing by Kev Correa...gave up 4 taters and it's a loss...drats...nice game by brother Hairston...
Watched a movie "Defiance"...true story about WW 2...very well done and you have to see it...
Idol...big Mike got the boot...wait!...the judges gave a pardon and nobody left...
The Blazers won another must win at the Slippers...duh
I'm testing Black Jack tomorrow...
I think I have the cure for Tiger......have to spend a month with Kate Gosselin...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
