So I got 3 out of 4....Butler, Mich. St. and Duke...West Virginny slid in against the cheater coached Kentucky...and, I still don't see anyone beating the Blue Devils...
The Padres have gotten closer to their opening day roster and the number 5 starter will be Matt Latos...hey, the team looks as good as it possibly can be...it has not shelled out the $ that LA or NY has, but I got a feeling about this team...oh, by the way, they won again...this time a 7-0 pasting of the Giants...
How about them Blazers!  They go into Oky City (Supersonics) and win...and now are tied for 6th...keep going PDX...
Sixty Minutes did an article on the new owner of the hapless Nets of the NBA...a Russian that has loads of $...seems odd to say that as they were Socialists just a mere decade or so ago...he does not seem that trustworthy to me...
The young gal from South Korea whupped the field out at LaCosta and won for the 1st time in the US...Michelle Wie had another rule infraction fiasco with the LPGA...unfortunately, in the NEW way they are trying to get the public to watch their production, they allowed the camera to watch and listen in to her plea to get the 2 stroke penalty waived...here it is...she hit out of the water, with one leg in, and got the ball out, but it still did not clear the red hazard line...as she tried to see where it landed, she inadvertently grounded her club...she claimed for balance sake...the rules judges said naw...if she had hit the ball outside of the hazard line could she have grounded her club then?  I say it is a crap rule...
I watched Freddy Couples beat Corey Pavin (Ryder Cup Capt.) in the Dominican...man, is he hot now...
I hope your republicans endorse your sister Sarah...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
