Celts/Lakers

The NBA regular season can be a bore...I'm not telling anything you don't know...it is one that needs to be cut by a third...but, last night a special one took place, with Boston visiting LA ...definitely had a feel for the playoffs...the Celts held on for the V...but, the Lakers were without Kobe....certainly significant...it is obvious that former Jail Blazer Rasheed is a negative for the Celts...well, got to figure LA is the team to beat...Boston heads on up to face the Blazers tonight...with the fresh face of Marcus Camby ready to add his stuff to PDX...my eyes are there...

So are you following the CPAC?  What happened to the TEA Party?  I can't believe I was ever a republican...what the hell was I thinking?  By the way, Sarah was conspicuously missing at your CPAC gathering...run Sarah run...

In about ten minutes Tiger will be addressing a select few about whatever he wants to tell the world about his private life...and everyone is going to turn in...
"I did not have sex with that woman!"  oops wrong guy...the speech was a good one, I thought...his actions will dictate what happens...

The match play tourney in the desert...all the number 1 seeds are gone...there is parity amongst the  PGA for sure...it also seems like Tiger won't be back very soon...

OK, the pundits are going to talk about but one thing today...Tiger...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
