The passing of Ted Kennedy left a senatorial seat vacant...and yesterday the voters in Massachusetts elected a republican!  His name is Scott Brown...seems to be an indicator of how people react to the health plan...and, how inept a race the democratic gal ran it...just follow the stories today, as the newly elected senator posed nude for Cosmo...so funny!  How conservative can you be?
You know I don't bet on the NFL...but if I did I'd take the Jets and get 7 1/2 points...they're physical, hot, and will keep control of the ball with 2 quality running backs... Saints over the Viks...big...sorry Favre fans...
You know one of the best singers in my time was Marvin Gaye...
his duets with Tanya Terrell were beauts...
but my fav was " What's Goin On"...a terrific piece on that time in the US...

Marvin Gaye "What"s goin On" is a great song and was such an innovation at the time. Find Daryl Hall"s song "All By Myself" off his Can't Stop Dreamin CD. Its very reminscent of WGO and written during the Bush adm. but could apply today and is one of the best things he"s ever done. The whol album is great. The Dems have totally mismanaged the health care thing and Corporate America wins.

Oh by the way Teddy Pendergrass died last week. One of the great voices of our time. Most notable was his lead work for the group Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
