Don't Rain on our Parade

Dang if it didn't happen...just as soon as the game was over the rain started...the Jets came into town and did what they said they would do...win....like a prize fighter they kept pounding away 'til they wore down the Bolts defense...no surprise there...BUT...the Charger's offense altered nothing as they met their physical match...for the better part of 2 seasons, the Bolts are 2nd and 9  way too many times...
Here's the gig...LT has been a super back for the Bolts, but it hasn't been there since I've been here...3 seasons...and SD hasn't drafted or traded for a running back...so the brain trust tries a run up the middle almost every series...gains one yard...and then performs pretty well from then on...BUT...not against a hot, physical, team...the fix is simple...get yourself a quality, young back in here...
Congrats to the Jets...they deserved it and hope they can do the same to the Colts...their O is in the hands and mind of Peyton...he'll be more cagey and it should be a beaut...sorry Bolts, but the best prepared team won...
In the other game...Favre did a number on the Cowboys!  The Viks were ready and are a powerful team that has all the parts to get the title...oh by the way, Romo looked miserable for Dallas...he doesn't have it folks...nope...
The rain is supposed to be here all week...rats
