To Be Fair

Hey I have to be fair here...if you go way back in this season, I predicted a banner year for the Beavs...they wallowed a bit early on and I put them on the back burner...OK, OK, OK, they deserve the accolades that are bestowed them...the line is stable at 9 1/2 for the home team...IFF (math terms) OSU can run the ball they are a pick 'em...if not, the Dux in a rout...
Maybe, just maybe, Tiger shouldn't be married...and probably won't be much longer...
SDS beat USD in hoops last night in double OT...both teams are good and it will be fun to follow each this season...
The Nets lost their 18th straight and it's back home to play the 7-10 Bobcats...
The Padres top pick was in another accident, this time with an ATV...got my doubts...
I am bewildered...there is more air time for the Tiger drama than sending an additional 30,000 troops to war...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
