The Stadium

There are 2 sports in San Diego, football and football....sorry Pads, but it's true...and ever since I've been here the Bolts have been looking for a new stadium...rumors about a midnight move to LA, an Escondido site, a Chula Vista site, an Oceanside site...now comes the most exciting of all...a downtown site!...it's about 5 blocks east of Petco...and appears to be a reliable destination...a lot of excitement here for sure...
Now back to the Pads...to get to the same echelon as the Bolts, they have to make the right moves...it's there, but it's up to this new management to figure it out...and deliver...
The Steelers are a load...just ask the Broncos who thought they were on the same level...not, if you watched last night's undressing in Denver...
There is a story here about a local SD high school player, Jeremy Tyler, who decided to forego his SENIOR YEAR in high school to go abroad and play in a pro league, make money, forget schooling, and go directly into the NBA draft...problem is that he's too young, thinks he has all the answers, and is being crucified over there...the coaches keep saying he's got no clue about the game...dunking is not the game...fundamentals are extremely lacking...and he's a liability on the floor, thus he's not playing...I saw him play last year and boy is he raw...hard to figure out what he can do and can't imagine any agent would put him in this situation to...fail...get back to school and get your education, both on and off the court...sad really...
And the Ft. Hood tragedy...it keeps unraveling...I think he was a plant...
And finally...the health care bill...I am appalled by the amount of money that lobbyists throw at the reps and senators to get their view across...just follow the money and wonder how this can happen still...
