The Civil War

There is no bigger game in the state of Orygun...the civil war...you have one pro team, the Blazers...and their checkered history leaves some in the wake...but everyone follows the plight of the Dux and Beavs...and it seems like you must be one of the two, no on the fence people here...the spread is 9 favoring the Dux...BUT...the game has history of being close and the passion second to none...the winner this time around gets the Rose and the wish is good weather to play the game...here is my break down...the Beavs are more conventional and they must score, A LOT...the Dux, I really can't figure what they are going to run...and that's their beauty...Dux 48-30...in good weather...28-27 in bad...
The Chargers...won their 6th in a row in a rout over KC...so much as they called off the troops at the beginning of the 4th...that doesn't happen much in the NFL anymore...next up, at the hapless Browns...
Tonight is the Pats at the Saints...for real team or not, we'll see what NO is all about...it wasn't too long ago that they were the aints...
Have you been following the trial of the young gal from Seattle in Italy...from all the reports that we get, there doesn't seem to be a bit of evidence to convict...scary really...
Watched a real feel good movie last night, "Last Chance, Harvey", starring Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson...great flick for a date...
Enjoy the sun...

The War - nothing civil about it.
These games are so hard to predict.
Emotion and breaks have such an impact. Just when you think its going to be high scoring it turns out 14 to 17 or you think it will be a close one and someone wins by 28. The Ducks should have an edge but the Beavs have been playing well and Riley is good. I have 20 people and 16 door prizes. Game On!
