The Beach

I'm not going to lie to you...the San Diego beach is an awesome place! We hit it twice a week and am looking for a boogie board partner...Rumor has it my son is coming this way in a couple of weeks and he has the same water desire as I...Coronado Beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach...each has it's pro's and con's....it actually was warmer there than inland yesterday and so nice....
Back in the humid midwest, the Padres are getting a lesson on baseball from the St. Louis Cardinals...and ...Tiger is testing the Minnesota area for the PGA championship at Hazeltine...if he holds on, that would be 3 wins in a row...on the sad side of it...Lefty just can't shake his personal family problems and is a train wreck in slow motion...
The Chargers started their exhibition season last night at the Q and lost to the Seahawks...why do they play these?
Sam gets her hair shaved and I am the designated one...well, to drive her to the groomer...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
