Gun Control


Maybe it seems frivolous in these crazy times of unrest in places like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc...but doesn't it seem like this country can put a lid on the possession of handguns and military type guns?
With the latest of the morbid shootings, the killing of a high school football coach by one of his old players in Iowa...the senseless taking of lives has to cease...the killing of an abortion doctor...the everyday killing of people in every big city in the land...EVERYDAY...shouldn't that tell us to do some type of restricting? Getting back to my number one problem in the governing of this nation, the people who make money off of influencing the elected officials, the people who expect to get returns by giving or laundering money to the decision makers... the lobbyists...
There is no bigger lobbyist group in this country than the NRA...a conservative group that refuses to limit the number of , the people who own, the type, the number of ...guns and weapons...When can the people of this land finally step up and get some change done in this terrifying topic? A bit unclear...lobbyists or the NRA? Let's first go to the NRA and get that cleaned up...then off to the lobbyists...NOW!
No, our leaders spend more time on the steroids in baseball, or the infidelity of it's members, or finding flaws in Supreme Court nominees, or figuring out how much money they can receive....from a lobbyist!

On the much brighter side...the NBA draft is today and the Blazers traded up a couple of spots...must be someone they figure won't be there if they waited 2 picks ...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
