Hybrid or not?

For those of you who know me I have owned probably in the neighborhood of 30 + cars in my life...and I am pretty much settled with the Lexus and Solara that I possess now...however my son is closing down on his Infinity lease and is looking into hybrids...so to keep you the readers informed I'll give you what I have found out...1st of all the Toyota Prius has pretty much the most time in on tweaking their model...and it is hard to beat...it has awesome mileage (48 mph) and offers leather , nav, and pretty much anything you want...and if you wait for the '10 you can get a sunroof...the Honda offers 2 types, but does not give you all the bells and whistles, Chevy has a new Malibu model out that is intriguing, but it is a GM...Ford has a couple of models that are nice, but well you know...Lexus offers a couple, but the mileage isn't that great... To summarize, the car companies just haven't got it...I'm talking the need of the people...I think the Prius is the way to go...if you want bigger, go for the Camry Hybrid...stick with Toyota...
The Padres stumbled badly last night from the get go and got whupped 10-1...Luis Rodriguez had the stomach flu and left before the 1st pitch...today at 1:05 with Peavy on the hill...I'm heading over and catching it...

The Chargers had but one pick in the NBA draft yesterday and chose a defensive rusher, Larry English, out of Northern Illinois...appears to be a good choice...the only surprise is that Beanie Wells wasn't picked until the last of the 1st round...he's a great one...
For the record...the SDS football group already is making strides with their new direction...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
