So I have a new theme song for the Padres, "Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket"...there is some thoughts out there that the Pads should sign recently dropped Gary Sheffield (Detroit) for the bargain basement price of $400,000. But...isn't there a youth movement going on? Would he take over for Headley in LF? Then move Chase to 3B and trade Kooz? Naw it ain't gonna happen.
