Well it certainly feels like summer here in the GQ. I have gone out twice in the last 3 days and am loving it. So what better to talk about than the PGA tour which is in Hawaii now. The Maui version went to the cool cat from down under, Geoff Ogilvy. He smacked the field there and hold on as he may just do it again this time on Honolulu...Rumor mill is Tiger is coming out...

The Pads signed a converted shortstop to fill the gap at 2nd next year. David Eckstein is the type of guy that WILL FIT here. Yes I said he'd fit. He can run, bunt, slap the ball around, and the knock on him the arm...no prob at 2nd. Is it going to be Luis at ss?

The Blazers did a number on the Nets. You see I am bewildered by the Nets. They have a manager coaching them. Their best player is over-rated and they still manage to win some. By the way now that PDX has to run their pg by committee...watch out for the kid from Arizona. Which brings me to another point. A lot of people think that the the best kids are at Duke or NC, but doesn't Arizona have better products who actually play in the NBA?
