Lefty shoots a 5 over right out of the gate in Phoenix and actually said he wasn't that far off...OMG!
The circus affair they have at that tough(?) 16 th hole is high drama. I know I'd hate to hit it there. Nobody there would be safe.
So you put LeBron's picture on the cover of SI and he promptly has his worst game of the year...what curse?
The count down to the Sooper Bowl in Tampa has begun and it is not a major thing on my mind. It just doesn't have the huge flair as some in the past.
Portland upset USD last night...the Pilots!!! Maybe the Torreros got caught looking ahead to Gonzaga...or maybe they are not that good...or maybe Portland is greatly improved...I think I've covered all the bases there.
Speaking of bases, I'm going out and watching the hot bb pro prospect pitch today at SDS, Strasberg(?)...80* here today...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
