Back in my head coaching days there was always hints of illegal transfers to one particular high school. You would coach against that team during the summer and then...whoa...in the winter that team would have a whole new look with some high quality transfer kids in their new lineup. A summer camp was the culprit there...but there are always some shenanigans whenever mysterious transfers occur. It eventually is caught and the coach moves on. The same thing is being alleged here at San Diego High...go to the Union-Trib website and read on.
On the same type of line, the colleges have their own type of problems. That is when the coaching staff breaks the rules for contacts and THE SCHOOL gets sanctioned. The coach resigns, moves on, the school is penalized, the coach gets another job, and does it all over again. It's all about the wins... My beef is that the coach should get penalized. Must sit out a number of years, not just the school losing privileges and the such. Hasn't happened yet...
The shakeup of the Bolts staff has begun with the axing of their defensive backs coaches, tight end (?)coach, and the offensive line coach.. A tight end coach?...sounds like a cool job. The rumor mill has started on LT. It is suggested that he may be an ex-Charger...
