So we got in the mood and went to see the 4 Christmases. Kinda cool. Not the best movie but will definitely get you thinking about the season and how family affects us all.
There is a Christmas Doggie Parade on Sunday here in the Quarter (forever Q in my blog). And yes, Sammi will be strutting her stuff!
We just had the Christmas party for the Prudential last night and I was the escort that everyone wanted to know about. Just kidding about that.
Watched the Blazers on the tube last night versus the Jazz. Remember a bit back I listed some of the quality coaches in the NBA? I left out Jerry Sloan and he is deserved for sure. He chewed up PDX and spit them out. Portland is still on the outside looking in. Got to get more out of the middle and figure out how to handle double teams.
SDS listed their top 3 candidates for the football job. The group consists of Dennis Franchione(Texas A&M), DeWayne Walker (UCLA), and Brady Hoke (Ball State). Gotta think Franchione will be the one, part for financial reasons, and part for his rep of resurrecting programs.
Finally more stuff on the Peavy situation. They can't pay him. His new contract doesn't start until April and they are OK until then. Unless the Moore's part of the team is sold, look to see Peavy moved. Sad day here in the Q.
