Election Day
I have to admit it is exciting to know we will have something to look forward to after today's election. Either candidate will be a tremendous improvement to what's in office right now. I still believe a 9+ win for Obama...but it is politics.
More Pads. Khalil Greene is on the trading block. There is a surprise. He is coming off his worst year and then broke his hand in desperation. Who wants him? There is a small flock of needy teams out there including the Orioles, Reds, and the Tigers. Moving on to the Peavy gift. Jake has agreed to go to the Yankees if there is a sufficient deal. Watch out for the Red Sox...I am feeling there is something brewing. And now another dismantling of the Pads, their TV voice, Matt Vasgersian, is off to another gig. You may remember him as one of the voices on the past Olympic's broadcast. He is outstanding! Not sure where he is going but I'm sure it is up.
And now officiating. In the greater San Diego area, high school officials are considered a private business and have to HAVE A BUSINESS LICENSE! The cost is $74, then an annual fee of $34. Taxman wooah the taxman...
