Change...Charger's Style

As I have stated earlier, the Chargers were going to fire one of their coaches in their bye week. Yesterday it happened. Their defensive coordinator, Ted Cottrell, got the axe. As it turned out, he was hired when the head guy, Norv Turner, was hired. He was with the Bills when the GM, AJ Smith, was there, too. The D is ranked last and needed a change. It's a good thing. The Bolts need to be more aggressive and the guy they got, Ron Rivera, will get 'er done. Mark my words...the Chargers are back!
The Series debacle may resume tonight.
Now to the Lakers/Blazers. First, the good thing. The Lakers are for real. They play great defense and are real active. Their first and their second groups are tough...TOUGH. I will reserve judgment as the first month unfurls, but I think I am going to follow them. 2nd, the bad thing. The Blazers. They were in slow motion. A clear drop in class to the LA squad. Oden hurt his foot and looked extremely slow. Roy was way off any pace to be a star. The team had a difficult time getting into any offensive set. Maybe the Lakers defense had a lot to do with it, like good teams do. We'll see, it's only game No. 1...but...
SDS coach Long said they could be 4-4 rather than 1-7...what earth is he on?
