Soccer

With the center stage being World Cup Soccer...I have a question...are these players also doing so in the Major League Soccer league?...is it like for the Olympics where the top pros represent the countries?...like in hoops...I looked on Google, and couldn't come up with the answers...the other countries have their own pro leagues?...a little confused...

The end of horse racing at Hollywood Park...is upon us...as the owners are developing it into living spaces...the casino is going to try to stay afloat...and what was the time that the Cali Racing
System used for the races is now split between Los Alamitos and Del Mar...it's now Los Al's time...and another question...what do they do with the quarter horse races that they ran during this time?...inquiring minds want to know...

Is there a way that the Padres can play the Reds every other week?...SD swept 'em...which must be a first for us...I'm not sure we could sweep our own AAA affiliate...anyway, a day off...and in come the Giants...a team that is also struggling...and yet in a battle for 1st with the dreaded Bums...somehow, and I mean somehow, we are now in 3rd...what?...

I always gander at TMZ for the inside scoop on the famous, er wannabe famous people...and get a big kick out of the coverage...do you?...they ALWAYS have bits on the K fam...and the latest is the growth of KK's rear end...ha ha...it is hilarious...actually, both of the sisters have the same affliction...I know when I gain some weight it goes to my midsection...apparently not so for some women...er, famous ones...

This tidbit about my favorite actress...Rachel...the director of the cult film "The Notebook", says that the two stars of the show were fighting...and Goslin, like HIM, wanted her taken off the set...ha ha...you mean people watched because of him?...ha ha...

The PGA is in Greenbrier...trying to dodge the 1st hurricane of the season, Arthur...bet there will be a shortened version...or even a cancellation...if my bearings are right...on the path of the storm...

You won't have to wait much longer to see where the NBA free agents go...as the teams in the hunt for Melo are trying to woo him...and the James lad...haven't heard much from this...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
