16 Days to Go

The long-awaited midterms...are here in 16 days...the changes 'they are a coming'...the fresh air, the back to reality...is just around the corner...RELIEF...common decency...yes, the return to Democracy!...the bullying pulpit will be gone...the aftermath of the VOTE, devastating to trump...YES, he will not go quietly...attempting to sabotage the election, throw roadblocks wherever he can, call the results rigged...and on and on...and on...

These 16 days will also be filled with angst...what might he do?...he will try anything...do not disregard his negative abilities...we must be prepared...and that means YOU, Congress...maybe even the military...think back to Jan 6, when he was sabotaging his very own VP Pence...no pawn shall be in his path...

Have you voted?...the massive No King's Rally was all about that yesterday...VOTE!...get 'er done...

What a day for the college football teams...5 of the current top 10 were 'upset'...OSU over Indiana, BYU over Notre Dame, and others...how about Auburn over Georgia!...Kentucky (!) over Oklahoma....Tennessee over 'Bama...oh yea, the Ducks over Nebraska, and of course, the Beavs mauled the Cougs...who is left undefeated?...UCLA...Miami...hey, there is no clear number one team at the halfway point...

A borrowed sentiment...'I have 14 clubs in my golf bag...maybe three of them have worth; the other 11 are there for moral support....'...

You referee types...at the end of the 1st half of the Duck/Husker game...Nebraska was awarded a TD...on a caught pass...where the receiver hit the out-of-bounds and in-bounds with his back, and his two legs in the air...how is this a TD?...I don't get it...is the back part of a foot?...one foot in?...a part of the back in?...asking for a friend...

This heat wave we have...supposedly to FINALLY cool down this week...what, after 6 weeks of it?...enough already...I give...

I was just perusing the remaining games for the Ducks and Beavers...who do NOT meet this season...the Ducks have a very tough road...and the Beavs, not so much...the game at Boise will be the answer...if a win, a good chance at the BSBCS....no lie...way cool...go Coach Shep...
