The Bolts No More

Going to give the DC News a break to start this morning...let's talk NFL franchise, the Los Angeles Chargers...the owners, the Spanos Family...took the beloved Chargers OUT of San Diego...after trying to seek local money to build THEM a new stadium...by THEM, I am referring to the Spanos...listen, kids, this team was San Diego...when we first got here,  couple of decades back...it was THE GAME in town...Bolts this, Bolts that, and they were beloved...

Off the Spanos Fam went, and took the Chargers with them...to LA...and THEY leased part of the NEW stadium there...FROM the Rams...who did the same trick to their former site...HOWEVER, the Rams had cash...the result?...the Rams have fans in LA...and the Chargers DO NOT...witness yesterday's game in LA vs the Raiders...my son was there...and he remarked that the crowd was all RAIDERS...imagine playing a HOME (?) game and you are without a BASE...which is normal for the Chargers...

The product is inferior...the daubers are down...and the Spanos Family are the reason...fire the coach, trade the players...whatever, the problem is the OWNER...sad tale...they no longer are THE BOLTS!...

Another grave situation...but FAR MORE IMPORTANT...the mess that trump has got the USA in...wooah, that could cover almost everything in the country...it is the trump WAR with Iran...he threatens a lot...over and over...and over...even to the point of 'destroying the country, Iran'...here is the grave part...he has no plan...boots on the ground?...easy for him to say, it's not him...pawns?...nukes?...he no longer listens to the people who are trained for this...the military brass..."I know more than the Generals do about war"...oh my...and worse...yea, and I am telling you NOTHING that you already DON'T KNOW!...

The travels of Cosmo...cheapest regular petrol I could find was $5.79 a gallon...yes, kids, that is for regular...and get this...Boss was ordering food from Amazon Fresh...and THEY WERE OUT OF MILK!...say what?...you KNOW where this is going...

The Friars are sizzling at the end of the regular season...swept the Marlins...with one week to go...the magic number is 2...we go to Chavez for a set with the Bums...and then close it all out, with a doozy...a 3 game match with the DBacks here at San Diego...cool up the suds...bring out the Nachos...keep rocking, men...

Not so funny...a real tale...we forgot to tell our storage place for Cosmo that we were returning on a Sunday...they are closed...we can take it back, but our Lexus is in the closed locked compound...so, we cleaned Cosmo up...locked her...and called an Uber to get us home...this, my good readers, is right on the border...Boss and Lucy were ahead of me...and as I was approaching the car, lo and behold...there was an ICE rig approaching, too...Imagine this Injun...running to a car, and what the boys in the ICE rig were thinking...yes, they were looking me over big time...we made it...

And in Texas...another person shot by ICE...I believe in Austin...he was a Door-Dash guy...a delivery man...as they (ICE) keep working on getting their quota...man, so much like the 1930's Gestapo...

Back to the NFL...as I have preached for sometime...too much is made about who is the starting QB...as they seemingly all go down in that league...yup, da Bears lost theirs, as did the Skins...man, this is only week 2!...they need two or three...
