Let's Talk Football...

Greetings, kids...going to put trump to rest for a bit...and let's talk FOOTBALL, not futbol...when I started my Journal, back in '06...it was all about sports...until it wasn't...along came the crazy world of politics...more of that later...but now, we return to the Collegiate World...

The game itself is the gladiator sport of modern times...along comes the gambling part of it...+ the ludicrous NIL monies for the college players...and there you have it...the complete game...of FOOTBALL...transfer rules are out the door...it's about to go to another additional headache...allowing the Pro players BACK into college...you see, they will make more scratch playing in college, than being on the Pro taxis squad...imagine trying to recruit high school players, search through the transfer portal, and then...sift through all the pro taxi players...to WIN, baby, WIN!...at all costs...

The games...the point spreads...the money bet...loads of it...which just may bring in rigged outcomes...much like the political field, these matches could have sinister people involved in who actually gets the W...SPORTS=POLITICS?...hmmm...

No bigger a question mark was the conclusion of the Central Michigan/Michigan game...WOW!...home clock difference?...as the Wolverines were allowed 3 chances to complete a 'Hail Mary' to win the game...clearly, in this Journalist's viewpoint...the time clock ran out on the 2nd attempt...0:00...and yet, were given 1 more try with 1 second added...which the 'refs' did do, and so did Michigan...completed pass and the WIN...oh my...here we go....

Point spreads...with the lopsided scores of the strong teams and their patsies...the teams that get BIG MONEY to go and play the BIGS...I dunno, kids...it is a joke...the embarrassment of the game...

One game not so...was the Oregon Ducks hosting the Boise State Broncos (is that a state?)...the line was absurd at 24 1/2...Vegas Boyz got that wrong, and I said so...Boise always gives the Ducks fits, if not an L...it was a good one...UO got the final TD, and that was that...BSU will win the new PAC 12...the Ducks?...have things to clean up...especially the punt returner kid...hmmm, No.2 in the land?...not right now...

Oregon State...hey, with a new HC adorned with a Shepherd name...they must be better....it's true...and their QB Atkinson...he is the real deal...they are better and will win their fair share of games...need work on D, though...

LSU rolled over Dabo's Clemson...do not like either of those coaches...Kiffin the worst...Jerry, the WORST...and then....the local team here...SDSU... pummeled Portland St by 30-something...yes, this same patsy plays UO in a couple of weeks...see above...

Now...the trump WAR...

Increasing attacks by both sides...bestow upon us the faith that somehow this unworthy WAR will cease soon... something tells me it will last through our Mid-Terms...and get this...he sends his crack Peace Team, featuring Jared Kirshner, to Ukraine and Russia...to solve that WAR...listen poopah, get a handle on YOUR WAR!...

With all the attacks on our bases in the Middle East...do YOU get the feeling that WE are not getting accurate numbers of OUR military killed and wounded?...

This, that, and the rest...

I, for one, will not watch Game Day...until they get that buffoon Pat McAfee, off the telecast...regardless of where it will be held...

Poopah had his tresses colored brown?...maybe black?...hard to tell...or is it a mop?...wig?...rug?...toupee?...postiche?...

The Boise State coach, when interviewed at halftime, had me at 'Give thanks to Jesus..."...another football bloke, using religion to equate to FOOTBALL...

I will say that Ted Lasso makes me enjoy futbol a lot more...

Which one of you out there has seen Mitch in the past 2 months?...

Rookie Mgr strikes again...leaves the SP in after 3 straight walks...and has nothing...and the game was over in the, what?...2nd or 3rd inning...Friar talk...21 games left dude...you need to WIN!...and NO, Manny was not injured in the last game...figure it out...

'This is my field'...as the SP for the Cards was ejected after pitching with his hat crooked...off to one side...the Ump began to throw people out...next game, all players came onto the field with crooked caps adorned...lordy...

Confirmed...trump will not attend the 9/11 ceremony...cuz, they will not let him speak at it...

My 'Small Potatoes' post drew the ire of some magas...good, keep reading and LEARNING!...
