16 Weeks

There is a pause in the trump WAR...and nobody is claiming that there are talks going on...which is weird, right?...there must be something going on...6 months over the Strait...who'd a thunk?...well, trump didn't...it's all about the OIL...their blockade, trump's blockade...who wins?...in the end, we shall get back to where it all began a half year ago...you KNOW this will be settled prior to the Mid-Terms...his last gasp for glory...what ever happened to that $3 Billion Buck gift to Iran by trump?...a long lost item, that has faded into the Epstein Files land...

I led with 16 weeks...the amount of time that Ella Langley has a song on the pop charts as #1!...surpassing the numbers of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston....yup, a country gal...with her 'Choosin Texas' as the song of the year...dig it and her total album of Dandelion...you will thank me...even if you are not a country music fan...it is that good...'Be Her' is outstanding, too...

The Friars got game 2...rocking the DBacks and now are 1-1 with them in this crucial 4 game set...when do our newbies pitch?...Casey Mize goes today...and Ray at home vs the Astros on Friday...it's a rad look for us...back to the here and now...2 big games for us in Arizona...

Back in the day...like in my youth...yes, way back...the hated team (and loved, too) was the NY Yankees...now it's the Bums...BEAT LA...and judging by the appearance of their just bought SP Tarik Skubal, he is a jerk, too...which makes them even easier to HATE!...

Staying in LA, there is news about a guy who has been casing the trump golf club there...armed and had a bevy of weaponry...ah, he was found and arrested...trump touched down briefly and then got the Hell out of Cali...

We had lunch in Old Town...some bodacious Mexican food...our friends, the Wainscots, had some interesting thoughts about cataract surgery...asked who my doc was...and VOILA!..mine is theirs too!...nothing but the highest praise for the guy...which is extremely reassuring...have done some research thru Gemini...and will ask for a bifocal for my right eye...the dominant one...we shall see...really!...

Lordy just looked at the calendar for next week...Slim Man Concert Sunday, Golf Monday, Santana and the Doobies Concert on Tuesday, RV trip to Carp for the rest of the week, for Caspian's 4th birthday...egads...'I'm a travelin' man'...Ricky Nelson...who, you are saying?...

Boss got me a brand spanking new humidor...the instructions say to cure the innards with distilled water...have you ever done this?...can't you use tap water?...it does look groovy...

OK then...the Netflix show...'The Staircase'...has another twist to the story...this is based on a true thang?...if so, must be the oddest circumstance EVER!...
