Witness the White (Gold) House Correspondents Dinner...rescheduled due to the intruder in the first one...I guess to hear the president speak...in the past, it was a highlight of the year...where the president told jokes, many about himself, and then...drew laughter from the people who covered him...NOT THIS TIME, and NOT THIS BLOKE...trump used it as a get even thing...calling out his most adversarial columnist of them all, Kaitlyn Collins, of the CNN...as per most all of his attempted jokes...fell flat with dead silence...his hour long ramble of calling some names, and then...giving credence to his great job of the leading the Nation...where was Melania?...and his right hand blonde?...both not there...as he sat at the dais with his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt (leave it)...just an observation...as the bloke has gained...weight and not popularity...for sure, this Dinner was a disaster...that was and is the scuttleBUTT...

Not surprising was the fact that the Epstein Files were not mentioned...nor the body count of soldiers killed in the trump WAR...or the thousands of wounded and or injured...imagine...sitting for an hour listening to the bloke ramble on...about nothing...as one listener put it, 'I thought he ended it 4 times, and then...he started up again'...torture... 

Finally, the free agent, LeBron James chose what team he is to join next season...the Philly 76ers...well, he can still play...wonder if he won't be a distraction for them...they have scorers and size...but, he needs the rock...can he play 3rd fiddle?...BTW, trump entered in calling out James "he may be a racist"...not kidding, he said that...

Are you watching 'Cape Fear?'...it is a series on Netflix...it is riveting and well worth the time...not exactly sure where it is heading...which is good for the mind...

Speaking of riveting...the idear of getting my eye lasered...finally got the OK from the Doc...and now must meet up with the dude who does this...of course, his office is closed on Fridays...gots this feeling that this will take a lot longer than I thought...BUT, I am looking forward to seeing clearly out of my eye...

The FRIARS won game one in Florida...hey, if the Red Sox can win 14 straight, so can we...well, let's get 2 straight...first...

The cats are going away from this Comic-con craziness...via the trolley...to Old Town...get some grub and some nice cigars...well, that is the plan for today...

Rumor has it...that RFK, Jr and his latest wife...attended the WH Correspondents DinDin, but SKIPPED the salad...

JD, Marco, and Clouseau were not there...not sure if I saw Whiskey, either...

The WNBA all star game is this weekend...you watching?...

We have found a perfect spot to watch the crazies...as they parade up and down the MLK walkway...I have me cigar and bourbon...Boss has her chard and the dog...the price is right...I play tunes from my iPhone...and there you go...er, we go...
