McConnell Mystery

Is he or is he not...still alive?...Senator Mitch McConnell (R) of Kentucky...the rumors are rampant...he had a stroke...he is in a hospital...he is brain dead...he is not brain dead...he can talk...he will recover...yet, none of these are substantiated...the hottest rumor, is that this is all political...they (trump) need his vote for the midterms...so 'they' are keeping him alive...fact or fiction?...

The one known person, who has said that he talked to McConnell...is the maga reporter, Scott Jennings...who I watched him tell the viewing audience and 4 others on this panel on CNN...that he received a phone call from the Senator...and 'they talked politics, for about 15 minutes'...as the other 4 panelists sat there, with smirks on their faces... yes, kids, it looked contrived and totally unbelievable...but, who knows?...

Another rumor...Jennings did all the talking...

Across the pond...in Turkey the other turkey was at it again...lashing out at the fellow NATO leaders...threatening to pull out all the US soldiers from Europe, unless they grant him the rights to Greenland...'the art of the deal'...should be more like 'the art of a seal'...then, back home in the USA, there are more and more judgments leaning to an unredacted Epstein Files release...and WHAM!...he authorizes hits on Iran...wait, did he get Senatorial approval for that?...oh well, he does it anyway...

He is calling the trump WAR back on...the ceasefire is dead...the Iranian leadership is scum...and here we go...or, here he goes...bombs, missiles, and drones away!...BOOM!...goes the OIL prices, and BOOM! goes the stock market...the ULTIMATE diversion...

November can't get here fast enough...the Mid-Terms...

The FIFA World Cup is not without controversies...the trump call for a reversal on a red card...the take back of goals...the absurd notion of ONE ref in these games...BUT, reality is the USA team again is not as strong as others...which I have been saying all along...the makeup is not good...momentum in sports, is HUGE...witness the Argentina come back...and WIN...I, like Kornheiser (PTI), admit we are not futbol aficionados, but can make rookie observations...

Hold de phone...the Friars won...that's one in a row...all of our pitchers did great, ah, the exception was of course, Matsui...faced 3 and got one out...and the rookie Mgr surprised me...took the bloke out...and the next RP threw one pitch and got a DP...Matsui was saved, as were the Pads...Miller got to pitch and close...he is our only All Star, and looked it again...my oh my, he is brilliant...Cronenworth's 3 run tater the diff...good on him...oh yea, and sorry LM...the Yankees went down again...

Lindsey Martin...perhaps a toilet bowl series between my Pads and your Yankees...at the end of the season...make it a yearly thing...ah, just in case both teams are NOT in the playoffs...

Ever since Carrie Underwood sang at trump's 2nd coronation...the faithful have swayed from her side...she did an after the round show at the John Deere in Illinois...and some were aghast at her final number, 'Before He Cheats'...saying she looked like she didn't want to be there, and was off key...listen blokes, I have seen her often, and she always delivers prime time...give it a rest...
