You Want Cheetos With That?

The Horse fancies himself with self-knowledge of some alcoholic drinks...the bourbon, the beers, and the wine...you know, adult beverages....once in a while...Little Big Town sang about this in one of their groovy songs...a great listen...anyhoo, we were stationed at a most bodacious swimming pool right here in Temecula...at the Pechanga Casino...no joke, kids, it is exactly like the ones in Vegas...humongous, multiple pools, one for kids, and the bigger one for the non-kids...we were of the most adult ones there...scantily clad waitresses and a swim up bar...with a DJ rocking the sound...cost us $55 a pop to get in, as we were staying at the RV...if at the Casino Hotel, it is free...sort of...get to the point Horse...so, it was like noonish, and I ventured out of my norm for drinks...had a Bloody Mary, which was good...but no accoutrements, you know (sorry CC) no celery olives, the lot...and then...went totally off the board...'give me a Vodka Tonic!'...wooah...and she said to me 'do you want that with Cheetos?'...the Horse was astounded...that comes with Cheetos?...found out later, that was Tetos Vodka...you see, I was out of my lane...

The concert...the bad seats weren't that bad...none of them are bad...HOWEVER, we were right behind a group of gals that were standing the moment that LeAnn took the stage...sang along with her, at a decibel of 10...we moved...and that was the ticket...Ms Rimes is incredible...with the same stage presence as Sara Evans...both of whom do not get enough accolades anymore...

Groups...which we ran into, at the RV site, the pool, and the concert...at the pool, this one was all wearing Captain caps...which was cool (birthday celebration)...at the concert, this was a wedding party...and at the RV, this appeared to be a maga cluster...at all hours...who each had their individual flags at their sites, to proudly say that 'we are united'...

OK, what is going on elsewhere?...Israel is still bombing Lebanon, during their 'ceasefire'?...what?...Russia is bombing Ukraine...the price of petrol is $5.79 for regular here in Cali...trump is filling the water back in the reflection pool...he is still trying to find a way to pay his Jan 6 coup people...with OUR money...and the votes keep right on a tallying here in the Bear State...

The Friars?...c'mon, actually won!...3-2...but, lord...broke a 6 game skid...and there is life in the old ball yard...and in my mind, too...

Memo...and probably true...for game 3 of the NBA finals at MSG...due to the fact that trump is going to attend...all watch parties near the complex are canceled!...I can hear the booing all the way up here in Temecula...

Back we go to San Diego...as this trip comes to a conclusion...Cosmo was great...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
