Listen here, Iran...STAND DOWN!...here we go again...terminology that makes us scratch our collective heads...am assuming this means, pull back your arsenal for a bit...actually, to both sides of the trump WAR...in this seemingly non-stop abrasion of a 'ceasefire'...they hit, trump hits, and back and forth it goes...trump now says talks are imminent...according to Al Jazeera, that is NOT happening...guess it is up to whom you believe...again...

This term reminded me of something...then, it clicked...in Seinfeld...where a many of these things popped up on their 8 years long comedic hit...truly an influencer show...before the term came to be...am I right or am I right?...now, people make a living being an 'influencer'...try the entire KFam for one...the phrase, Horse, the phrase...get on point...'Step Off, George'...ah yes, when Geo Costanza wanted to be just like the radical dude...an influencer...ha ha...of course, George failed...


The weekend...the poopah got back on the course...you know, needs to relax...as he preps for his gigantic Star Fair in DC...alas, many of the performers are stuck without gigs...they say the weather...the reality is, no one is attending...high class ones, too...like Vanilla Ice...and the oh so hot, Kid Rock...relax maga, you can prop up Erik's wife for a gig...the hits keep right on a coming...

To keep us all up to date on latest trends...hey, like 'Stand Down'...this is from the courageous dating world...termed 'Chalance Dating'...where the couple, when going out for a date...tell the partner, er whomever they are with EXACTLY how they really feel...rather than timidly act like they like the time spent...for youse unaware, this is the opposite of 'nonchalance'...so, there you go...thus, if you are still in the market for a dating gig...ask yourself what you prefer...

I talk some about the WNBA...how it has changed so...CC (Caitlyn Clark) is more of an influencer than a real player...really?...shoots the 3 ball, flops, rages at the refs, you know the drill...gets in skirmishes with whomever the opponent is...well, on her team...a teammate...there is one who is even more eccentric...no kidding...definitely a trend setter...Sophie Cunningham...get this...she played football in high school...like yes, on the guys team...was the X-tra point kicker...and was gooooood...top it off, she won the homecoming queen...


The Friars got beat 4-2 in the rubber match to the Bums...dang, had many chances and nope...not to be...off to the Cubbie land for a set....

The Travelers...ended (well, not really) in a tie at the top for the crown...the two who have battled it out for 2 days...have yet to settle the score...Victor Havland and Scottie Scheffler...so, this am, at 6, our time...they get back together on the 18th hole for a sudden death winner...keep playing that hole until there is one...last man standing...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
