Acting What?

In the turbulent reign of the present squatter of the Gold House...with the most often use of 'You're Fired!' raging from his beak...there must be replacements for the now gone and forgotten...his very own 'cabinet'...trump's...due to the lack of able bodied former FOX news and reporter types...he has hired like 23 of them already...it's a bit sketchy to find someone who will actually accept the vacant position...

That's a long winded version of doing just that for the Attorney General position...so what he does, is find someone to take on the job...as an 'ACTING" Attorney General...in this case, his very own personal attorney, Todd Blanche...he sticks the guy with the evasive query into the Epstein Files...Pammy Bondi got out, so she can wash her hands of it...it's all yours, Todd...

BUT, the 'ACTING' part if a bit of a nuisance...that position can last from 210 days to 300...depending on how one interprets the law...at that point, he or she, must go in front of a Senate committee, to get the bonafide spot...yes, and now, trump is stating that he indeed, is putting Blanche up for the grilling...

There you go, the 'ACTING' part of the cabinet type jobs...the answer to it...

Have you heard of the bloke Markwayne Mullin?...he is the Department of Homeland Security Secretary...funny job name, right?...FF Noem had that spot first, or second, or I don't know...anyway...he is being questioned in the House...and get this...when asked whether or not, his DHS had to follow the rules of LAW...he actually evaded the Q, and finally said that 'not always'...lord...I think we have seen that carry out in the past year...ICE, unchecked and out of control...

The House gave the poopah, NOT the news he wanted...they voted to STOP the trump WAR...of course, trump was irate and called the republicans who voted against his wishes, names...as he does regularly...derogatory ones...which he did again yesterday...

As he has not been seen for 7 or 8 days...odd for a bloke who loves to be seen and heard...he popped up, or was PROPPED UP (depending on how you look at it), and gave some silly arse commentary about the water in the 'reflecting pool'...really, with all the chaos around him...he talks about the water...THEN, when the reporter extraordinaire Kaitlyn Collins asked a Q...he lambasted her...man, in these days of trying to quell free speech...unload back on the bloke...

Which leads me to the newest efforts of trump...to run a state governed news agency...you know (sorry CC) like what dictators and Kings do...has a rich fat cat, Larry Ellison...who has bought up Paramount and guess what else?...CBS...and his son, David, is now the leader of that surge...firing those who have been a staple in the news department of the station...according to just axed Scott Pelley (there for 37 years) , was told to slant the news in the trump direction...here we go...correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Ellisons own CNN, too...it's not only FOX now, kids...

The Knicks got it done in San Antone...did not see it, as we had date nite...went to Little Italy and ate at a new restaurant there...LaLa...it was very good, with the exception of the caesar salad...which had the limp lettuce in lieu of the crisp ones...but all else, mighty tasty...

The PGA is at Jack's place in Ohio...the Memorial...a must play for the top guys...

I see that the 'stars' got good seats at San Antonio, after all...must have paid a mint for them...but, yup, they have the dough to fork out...

Breaking...Israel and Lebanon agree to ceasefire...which should mean, that trump and Iran will follow suit...and then...watch your stocks...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
