Insurgency

Back in the days, when the Native Americans (Injuns) were laying claim to the land now termed the United States of America...(soon to be renamed, trump)...the white peoples of Europe decided to conquer this 'uninhabited soil'...came in droves across the pond...established what they could on the east coast of it...well now, the expansion of the white world...it was a grand time for the Europeans...freedom from the problems back in their homeland...

The thing is, they were much more advanced than the present inhabitants of this land...that was indeed the difference and the eventual demise of many of the Injuns...'let's put the survivors in the worst place in this New World we can find'...'let's call them reservations'...and THAT my friends, is the history lesson for the day...

Insurgency?...rebellion?...revolt?...insurrection?...if the Injuns ever got enough nerve and power, to bolt from the Rez...the whites called it an uprising...if a gaggle of whites, on one of the ships coming to the New World, rebelled, they called it a mutiny...nouns that stuck with the races, I reckon...

So advance a couple of centuries...what would you call what is happening in this now, New World?...the States...a dwindling amount of whites, that still dominate this land...in the interim, the whites brought over black people for their own use...called them slaves...oh my, needed more help, and allowed the brown people, the Latinos, to come help in the foods system...and yes, my good friends, still want to be the people who dictate what is law of the land...

Alas, the blacks, the brown, the red, well, all colors of mankind have superceded the numbers of whites...and yet...as one of my fellow white fellow golfers says, 'my vote is more important than theirs'...referring to the minorities....but the question is...who IS the minority now?...

Let's pause for a moment...and take a look at just who is STILL in power in the USA...might this direction be askewed?...is it a morose pathway to racism?...or is it the proper way for the country to survive...'stay the course?'...

The adjustments are to be seen, or they won't...cometh this next Mid-term election in November...it is up to all of us to voice our opinion...via the VOTE...
