Blue Dot Fever


There is a growing problem in this culture of ours...'Blue Dot Fever'...and for goodness sakes, it has more than one meaning...really...in Kansas, it represents the growing of the numbers of Democrats in a very red state...the 'Blue Dot'...Blue is the color of the liberals, I reckon....and Red is for the conservatives...however, the growing trend for this name...is the cancellation of concerts by music artists..why?...price of the tix...apathy for the music...things are getting tighter...budget wise...in more brutal terms, it is 'anti-trump frenzy'...gas too high, food too high, thus, the extras that many want, they no longer can afford...the rich cats can go, but the average guy or gal, can't...

BLUE DOT FEVER...?...maybe NOT at Coachella, and Stagecoach...but, those could be rich, fat cats, that are young...ah hem, them KFam types...

Throughout  the education system in the States...there is this computer platform that is used by thousands of schools and universities...that has information about the students and faculty...not only in the USA, but all over the world...true dat...it is called CANVAS...and it has been hacked...the info is out...there...and it gobbled up by those who feed on this sort of thing...surprise surprise surprise...(Gomer Pyle)...without a doubt, the computer has it's benefits, and it's deficiencies...this is one of the latter...

Does it have access to the Epstein Files?...asking for 349 million Americans...well,  minus the 27% maga faithful, who don't want to see the Files...called blind faith...

The quick Russian takeover of Ukraine has been far from that...as the Ukrainian people are mighty...now lasting over 1,500 days!...and the report out is...that Russia has lost over 350,000 soldiers in their plight to get the country in their boundary...Ukraine has lost somewhere between 140,000 to 200,000....we do not value life as we should...leaders are awful...well, some are...

Speaking of quick...a quick fix...many sports teams trade to get a player, or players, to FIX their team...to get them to the playoffs...ah yes, the owners and their tinker toys...one such bloke in the NBA...is an add on for sometime now...he has been traded often...to bolster a team...right...the Beard...James Harden...thing is...the cat has a problem...no D...terrific one on one offensive skills...but, in the playoffs, the teams change up and the best defensive team wins...and his NEW team loses...all of them...the Cleveland Cavs, the latest to add the guy, is faltering now...badly...some owners just don't get it...well, most all of them...

Out at the ball yard...the Friars lost game 2 to the youngins, the Saint Looey team...a nonchalant effort by Tatis in right field , led to a 4 runs score...just like a grand slam...as he let the single go under his glove and then JOGGED after the rock...we are in a funk, kids...and still NOT HITTING THE BALL!...c'mon...last eve we got ONE HIT and struck out 10 times to a dude who is NOT a flame thrower...I know what's next in GM AJ's agenda...he will fire the hitting coach...the first to go, always...

Our latest gig...is to find a flick that we missed the past 20 years or so...and watch it...last eve, was 'Catch and Release'...kind a chick flick, that an Injun would like, too...starring Jennifer Garner...got a 23% on Rotten Tomatoes...Juliette Lewis and Tim Olyphant...my point?...Fritz (Tim) brought out his camera and started to take pix...which got me interest...and will do the same...take my high dollar one out of the archives and snap away...I got the time...

The LeBrons are at home in LA for their set with the Thunder...and OKC is only 8 1/2 point favs...that's down from 15...does home make a diff?...yes, say the Vegas boys...

Finally...in trump's never ending rude name calling of female reporters...he has almost ran out of nouns...'nasty' 'piggy' 'ugly' 'stupid' 'slobs'...he stooped even lower now...calling Rachel Scott 'bitch'...what's next?...the 'c' word ?...and they can retaliate, calling him a bastard?...seems fair...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
