(Rory)ing through the Masters


Let's not talk about the poopah, to start this day off...instead, let's get to the Masters...Augusta, Georgia...and the dismantling of that course...by the last year winner, Rory McIlroy...who leads by SIX at the half way point...can he hold on?....sure he can...unless, someone comes out of the pack and shoots a real low round...ahem Scottie?...don't see it...

Rory has been absolutely masterful...thus far...putting well, and also, putting himself in good positions on the greens...so fun to watch, somebody playing that fine...

Over at the ball yard...the Friars won again on a walk off, TATER!...this time it was 'Holy' Sheets...a blast that had to be purnt near 470 feet...bottom of the 9th smash...and even better, well, as good...was the performance by starter Buehler...no runs through 6...

The boys were wearing the new 'city connect' uniforms...which the Horse wants one badly...is that bad or badly?...I dunno...but, they do cry out Horse all over them...my style for sure...

Politics...egads, the guy who seemingly had a great run at the new Cali governor spot...has a problem with them women...didn't seem to bother folks voting for the poopah, but doesn't fit for this time around for a democrat...Swalwell...and he shall be an ex candidate soon...in fact, some of the alleged thangs are bad, Eric...bye bye...

Talks with Iran and trump...well, VP Vance...are going on in Pakistan...not face to face mind you...all the while there is a rumor out that a US warship is approaching the Strait of Hormuz...and Iran is saying stop, or else...they will commence firing on it...some ceasefire, right?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
