You Say It's Yer Birthday...


Well, it's my birthday, too....ah, them Beatles...thanks to all of you who sent birthday wishes...it's always cool to get them...seeing the names affiliated...TG for Facebook, right?...here was the topper...got a call at breakfast from Daughter in Law, Leila...and then...a chorus of 'Happy Birthday', sung by our two grandsons...Cy (6) and Cas (3)...way way cute, and then 'We love you pappy!'...I had tears in my eyes, like I do right now, thinking and writing about it...no better present EVER!!!!...

The day after...well, it's another birthday...my amigo, and Coach (Greyhound) Larry Gahr...much much younger, but dang it all, he can celebrate the day, anyhow...it's not only for us super elders...

The day was complete with a bodacious din din at my fav, Eddie V's...had a red vino that was simply 'the boss'...a meritage from Owen Roe...'21...you must find it and give it pop...ah, pop the cork...

I can't believe the journos did this...the ones at the Pentagon....ah, trump's department of war....they were told by Pete (pour me another) Hegseth, that THEY were to write what he told them...OUT THEY WENT, refusing the dictator like order...in mass...all 32 news services, ie FOX, said NO WAY...and cleared out their desks, and fled at 4 pm...listen, kids...the attempt by trump for a dictatorship is ongoing...

When will the White House reporters do the same?...

So, with trump admitting that he has infiltrated Venezuela with our CIA troops (agents?)...after sinking like 5 or 6 of their vessels...we must be at war with that country, right?...another singular move...

What's with granting so much money to Argentina?...as the country fed offices are shut down, he is finding moolah to give them...what is in it for the bloke?...he always gets something, personal, in return...what is it?....

One more...trump is very aware of NO KINGS MARCHES....this Saturday...downplaying it...saying that very few people will show up...at the same time, he is trying to show military strength...much like what North Korea would do...firing missiles to a site right here in LowCal...Camp Pendleton...he has his biggest pawn, JD Vance orchestrating it...I can't make this shit up...another DIVERSION, people, another DIVERSION...

Furthermore...in his directive...these missiles are to fire over the highly traveled I-5...yes, right over it...what possibly could go wrong?...

Friday nite, while we are at a Boz Skaggs concert in Indio...MSNBC is running a docu on the highly interesting Andrew Young...he was a major player in the civil rights movement...with of course, Rev MLK...

BTW, fellow American Black people...you do know, that this GERRYMANDERING that trump is dictating in some states, is to DIMINISH your power...speak up and show the bloke that you DESPISE this attempt...it's happening right before your eyes...and for the most part, SCOTUS is addressing the issue...NOW...

Beisbol...so much for home field advantage...as for the Final 4, in the AL, the visitors have won all 3...thus far...will that be the tale in LA, too?...I double dog doubt it...the Bums are on a cruise to the title...peaking at the right time...

The NBA starts their way too long regular season next week...man, I love hoops...but not the way it is played now...'set it up'...right...it's all 'launching'...pick and roll...or...pick and stick...then launch the 3...ugly...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
