Good morning, all...we are back from the mini vacay....thx again to the Morrises for such great hospitality...the reason for the season?...two concerts...one was Boz, and the other was a Bee Gees tribute band...and of course, to reminisce, hear new stories and bask a bit in the pool...you know it is like mid 80's in the desert...way way...cool, well, warm....and to rest me back as much as possible...

Boz was disappointing...as I have told you prior...not enough of his classics early on...wrong approach to the elderly crowd...and The Bee Gees?...the lead, playing Barry, was fab....man, actually did the falsetto voice marvelously...it was fun, and a kick...you do know, Horse, it is a cover band...so, what do you expect?...

The big thing however...was (were?) the masses of Americans, and surprisingly, worldwide folk joining in...on the protest of trump...underestimated at 7 million people doing so...all over the map...we cruised thru 3 of them in the desert...the big cities, had big marches...when this sort of thing happened to Watergate Prez Nixon, he cowered down and drunk his booze to sleep...trump went golfing, and then hosted a million dollar donation dinner at Mara-Lago...all the while, his ears must have been burning...he is despised...

Sure, he had his pawns launch a military op in Camp Pendleton...what could go wrong...well, shrapnel did hit a cop car...it's just the price of admission...he surrounds himself in diversion...anything to counter what the PEOPLE are saying and doing...and for goodness sakes, anything to divert from the trump files, er, Epstein Files....being released...man, they must be full of shit about trump...

Speaking of shit and trump...his release of an AI generated 'comic'...where he is flying a jet, and then bombing his own people, with shit...really....shit!....what president would ever come up with something like that?...none other than trump...you proud of your guy, maga?...

The Ducks rebounded quite well...in a thrashing of Rutgers in New Jersey...and moved back up the ranks to 5th or 6th...the Bevos WON...and there were 7 top 25ers losers this weekend...which, of course, helped UO...SDSU played bye...

Ah ha, the M's have to go to the 7th and deciding game today with them Canadian Jays...win or go swimming with the sharks...win, and it's on to meet the Bums...not sure what is more scary... 

My FF team is cruising big time...could be my 2nd in a row...streaking, baby...depends on tonight's DH of pro games...2/3 ain't bad...former Duck QB's who won yesterday....Herbert (Chargers)....loss vs Colts, Gabriel (Browns) over the hapless Dolphins, and the big comeback of Nix (Broncos)...spoiling a sure (?) win by the Giants...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
