Gambling is rampant amongst sports games...all games...turn on ESPN and during their promotions of the upcoming games, they even have a 'sports bettor dude' give us all the latest odds on the games...yes, it is everywhere...used to be only 'through bookies'...underground...now, it is available nationwide...unless, you are a 'celebrity'...or even worse, a sports player...
The New FBI, just announced a 'gambling ring' of 34 people...ie, 3 NBA guys...some for altering games, and thus...tipping off their clients (?) about what is to happen...rigging...probably more to come, just a guess...and it appears to be, mobbed back...oh my...here we go again...
The one that got me...was a 'newish' method of fixing a game...this time at the POKER table...an elite 'private' game that brought in the whales...and all were on the fix, but the whale...their terms were the 'Face Card', the guy who was famous, who lured in the whale to the game...who they called 'The Fish'...whatever...
The catch was, the cards were marked...and the players wore contacts or glasses that could read the infrared markings on the cards....worse, is that 'the shuffle machines' were also altered to spit out cards to the 'right guys'...egads....and the table, was set up to read the cards, while they were face down...man oh man, the Fish had no chance...to top it off, the bad guys, had earphones to get the info...that is, if they needed it...
Allegedly, HC Chauncey Billups, of the PDX Blazers was one such 'Face Card'....he allegedly went further, informing the mob when the team was to 'tank' a game...that is, lose on purpose...if true, he shall never see the floor again...if true...
A sidelight...according to the New York Post...the games were at very attractive sites....one being the condo that Kylie Jenner had...ooooeeee...isn't that a beaut...what an evil web that may have transpired...
I always stayed away from the Casino POKER games...not knowing who you are playing and those damn shuffling machines...doesn't the Casino always win?...
