The Weekend Horse

I get out the Afternoon Horse, the Daily Horse, and now...the Weekend Horse...with the same sort of banter...my take on what is going on, in the World...not just the States...or, here in South SoCal...hope you enjoy...

We were on the deck cooking the chops for the dinner...lo and behold, the massive alarms of the police were a blaring...not abnormal for the city...most big cities...however, this time I counted 8 Cop cars streaking by...turning at the corner of Market and 1st...doesn't all cities have a Market and 1st?...which is the block of our local grocery...Ralph's...the street was cut off...there was a shooting between security and a bad guy...this is the local news...thus far, no one deceased...for that matter, I have not heard if either of the two, were even hit...

Way out east, at Emory University, another shooting...Atlanta, Georgia...an officer was killed...and yup, this gun business keeps right on a keeping on...

The mass murder killer, in Montana...was finally apprehended...not sure how or where...

My point?...well, you know...

The two leaders of Russia and the States are to meet on Friday...in Alaska...the issue?...Ukraine, duh...of course, the Grand Poopah has leaked what his topic will be...he wants to stop the war....by doing this, he thinks that Ukraine shall give up part of their land to the Russians...some compromise, bloke...Zelensky wants no part of that 'deal'...

JD Vance and Marco Rubio called for a meeting on the 'hot issue' of Epstein...boy orange was furious, that they did...well now...there is a lot of scuttlebutt...about the two aforementioned, as the republican nominees for '28...another blow to the forever dictator wannabe...there is trouble brewing within the Grand Poopah and his pawns...

trump went schizoid in the wee hours of the night...posting on his hilarious 'truth social'...that he is going ballistic over the former republican of Georgia, Lt Guv Geoff Duncan...he was the one who couldn't find the fake votes...and now, Duncan, has switched parties...ewwwee, nothing better than to see the orange turn red...yes, and in his normal response to peops that rebel from him...called him a 'big loser'...

That meeting in Alaska...just wondering if Sarah Palin will be the hostess...

The Bosox got game 1 at the Friars...curious...how long does it take a manager to figure out...his starting pitcher doesn't have it that game?...sitting on the best relieving crew in MLB...ours, was negligent last eve....of course, we need to score more than 2 runs to win...BUT!...

The Red Sox are interesting to me...they have youth all over their squad...and have invested in them to stay there...in my mighty Carnac Crystal Ball, I see a formidable team for the next 3 or 4 seasons...

In the PGA playoffs...look at the top, and you see the English dude who has yet to win a T...the very likable Tommy Fleetwood...will he finally win?...the weekend to find out....oh yea, and Scottie is 6 back...moving day...we shall see...

I have been told, more than I thought...that this blog is almost the single thing that many people READ for their NEWS of the day....which puts pressure on the Horse, to cover enough to keep abreast of the daily happenings...to be unbiased (oops)...well, after reading my 23 sources each and every day, prior to writing...you all get the best of the Horse...
