The headline for today...is that the Senate finally voted on trump's 'Big, Beautiful Bill'...with the narrow 51-49 passage...the republican holdouts did get swayed, er, bullied into voting for it...surprise surprise surprise...with 5 major alterations, to appease the holdouts...duh...yes, it was going to pass, eventually...they have the votes...some, were hesitant, even though that meant a permanent ban from the Grand Poopah...guess they must have got some words from their 'constituents'...right...once in the Senate, they follow the block voting...'we will do what's right for you'...lordy...

Have YOU read the 940 pages of it?...sneak this in, sneak that in...yatta yatta yatta...what I saw, was a cut in Medicaid...a substantial amount...a huge, make that HUGE, sum for Icetapo...dramatic tax breaks for the rich, fat, cats...all the while, trump golfs...at our expense...

What's this, day 158 of his regime?...3 1/2 years of painting the ugliest picture that this country has ever seen...will take that long to erase the nonsense, when the Demos take the country back over...perhaps, we should start right now...get our ducks in line...and start promoting them...

You know what a 'flapper' is?....some of you elders, and maybe smartees, will say, that this refers to the ladies of the 20's...er, 1920's...well, here in the present and now...I am referring to the rubber thang in the toilet bowl...we have had a monster of a time, trying to replace a withered, old one of ours...thrice, returned, and now...we have a new, plastic aided 'flapper' that finally works...and does replace the original...hey, for all of you...the mechanism that controls the toilet, is simply amazing...and has stood the test of time...no modernization of this jewel...you'd think there would be...

Just read about a Neil Young concert in England...Old England, not New England...and the reviews were not good for the old, old boy...bad sound, bad stage presence, and bad set of songs...hmmm, the same here at the Shell some time back...boo, dude...get your act together...as he bellowed out to a LA attendee in the City of Angels, complaining out loud at his set, to Neil...Young responded with...Go to Hell!'...time to walk out of that place...

I can't undersell this...'Mindhunter'...on Netflix...two seasons...it is riveting...stay with it, in the very first episode...we almost did not...it's CRAZY good...makes YOURS and MINE, minds... hunt for clues...the actors are dudes, and dudettes, you probably have no idea who they are...but, you will recognize the names of the hunted...mind hunted...

Got a flyer from Fantasy Springs...and lo and behold...they have a Boz concert there in October...circa my birthday...so, got on the site, and snatched a pair of tix...for far less scratch than here at Humphrey's...which made little whoop de do, as it is sold out...man, he has to do my fav cover of his 'Rainy Night in Georgia'...a gem, made famous by Brook Benton...written by Tony Joe White...you KNOW him 'Polk Salad Annie'...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
