A New Normal

The power of the pen...wait, the keyboard...and those who read you...POWER?...not so sure...it's an opinion...that all bloggers share...sometimes, put their names out there to be discerned...once in a while, it gets personal...as some steep so low, as to call out you personally...calling the blogger names and the like... I guess the topic hits a nerve...

It is what this time of 'leadership' brings about...sovereignty...not just the name of the race horse...but, a reality that has slapped many of us, right in the face...the POWER of a politician...can be daunting...even more if he or she gets elected to the highest office in this democracy...yes, I said democracy...not a supreme leader, but a leader of the republic...that manages ALL the people of the country...not a select group...

Be aware, those of you who choose to attack me...my voice continues on...listen, I am declaring the opportunity that we all have...a dogma that each and every one of us contains...you have yours, and I have mine...

Without a doubt, one of the coolest things I have attended and seen...was the graduation of our grandson at his kindergarten...the teacher, and school...gave us all in attendance...parents and grandparents...a brilliant show that had us in tears...

The Friars evened up the set with the Bums...a whopping 11-1 rout...man, we haven't scored that many in a month...always, sweeter when it is against the Dodgers...one more today...1;10 pm...

As we meander thru LA today...the way the news has it...we may get shelled...no, it's all in the downtown area...5 blocks square...LA is huge, kids...

Finally, the finals in the NBA continue on...game 3...in Indy...series tied...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
