The Afternoon Edition


Recall when the newspaper in YOUR area, had an afternoon edition?...as well as the morning one?...my, how times have changed...and I for one, miss this...now, of course, those who want to know the news...go to the web net...or, turn on the tele and feast on what is given out...missing in this, is a very important part of what is needed...the local stuff...not only the news, but the ads...and the info on the local people...what's happening...too often, it is nowhere to be found...OK, that's a very long, windy effort on my part...to tell you....that due to my ridiculous early tee time out on the links...I can't get my blog out in the morning...yes, I must play golf...it is my way of staying alert and somewhat in shape...a necessity for us elders...jogging?...you gots to be kidding...walking?...too boring...swimming?...some times, but it is too cold for this precious body of mine...

I have to first talk about Idol...the winner was not the cat I thought...but, that is OK...in fact, all 3 of the finalists were and are, dang good...different genres for sure...I still would love to see the actual numbers...the show hides them...believe them, is all we can do...imagine if that is how the political world did it...right...trust them?...hardly...John Foster will be a huge hit in the country field...in fact, both Boss and I have said the same thing...we would pay to watch the lad...I think that many of the country stars, are trying to get him...as their opening act...just wait and see...the Horse is right on, on this...

Over in North Carolina...Scottie Scheffler proved why he is number 1 in golf...like in the world...winning the PGA T by 5 strokes...listen, he is the 'new' Tiger Woods model...he is able to win each and every T he is entered in...only 28 years of age...a good guy...and has the modest demeanor of a true champ...golf is a very very hard game to master...

In his need for revenge...trump has put his pawns out on the warpath...find some negatives on the stars who have the nerve to speak up about what a dick he is...imagine, the mind set that this ogre has...he acts, reacts, like a 12 year old...spoiled rotten...this I know for sure, his time will come...oh yea, the names...he is 'having investigated'...Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Oprah Winfrey and of course, the non hot TAYLOR SWIFT...

The Friars...lost all 3 of the games with the entire state of Washington...not sure what the deal is...no hitting...and for goodness sakes, brass...RP Matsui is not major league...he faced 3 in a do or die situation...walked all 3...he has to have info on someone higher up...blackmailing 'em...why else is he still with the club?...

Very sad news about Prez B...worst stage of prostate cancer...the cancer has spread to his bones...man, we hope the best for this fine man...of course, trump has his cronies say crap about it...Jr and JD questioning the timing of the announcement...amongst other innuendos...the worst from the worst...administration ever in the White House...a no doubter...

So my son, the good Dr Cris...he and his partner won the Montecito GC Member-Member Tournament...it's a real accomplishment...and like when, Brice DeChamboo won the US Open last season....he is carrying the 'cup' everywhere...

The taxes (tariffs) are now hitting the stores...take a good look at the next time you are purchasing ANYTHING!...thank your guy, trump, you magas...I know it sounds strange...but, by his own words, we all are eating his tariffs...impeach the bum...

Is there any truth to the story that trump smells?...the info all says that the code name for him is 'roast beef'...man, this just can't be true, right?...word is that he showers but once a week...what?...this just has to be 'fake news', to quote his regime...and so it goes...ewww...

Kid Rock, the Nashville side kick of trump, had his night club and bar closed down (by him)...as to escape the informed Icetapo raid on his business...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
