The Knickerbockers


You see, kids...back in the days of wine and roses...where the music was free flowing...full of memorable melodies and lyrics that one could understand...guess this is like way back, back, back...one would hum a song, most the entire day...when the Beatles invaded the air streams...they changed everything...from the hit songs, to the way we dressed...and cut, or not cut, our hair...it was truly a grand time...of course, there were groups that sounded like 'em...one was the infamous, or not so infamous, group called 'The Knickerbockers'...they had this giant hit, that sort of sounded like John Lennon's voice...it was called 'Lies'...

And that led me to the announced results of the current squatter in the White House...trump...was announced by his doctor...in excellent health...what?...cuz he gets out and stays in shape by winning his many championships at golf...listed at 6'3"...and 224 pounds...hmmm, to use them Knickerbockers again 'LIES'...if he is 224 pounds, then I am 160...can you believe anything that this ogre puts out?...nope...

Rory and his green jacket...my oh my, how many chances does this dude get?...he had it, then he gave it away...then he had it again, and then...boom...lost it again...his heart had to be pounding beyond belief...and yet, finally won the bloody Masters on the 1st playoff hole...beat the fast charging Justin Rose, as JR lost again in OT there...8 years ago...and yes, the PGA has been dominated by them foreigners all this season...of course, they all live in the USA, now...hey orange, check their visas!...

McIlroy won like $4.2 million bucks for the W...wonder how much tax he pays on that?...no wonder he was crying after the round...

Over at the ball yard...the Friars did something I don't think has happened ever...we shut out the Rockies 3 straight games!...sweep, yes...but shut out?...wowser...in comes da Cubbies...for a set...they got us last week, so it's our turn to see what we can do...in our house...BTW, kids...our SP King, went all 9 innings...this is very rare in the game nowadays...and I see that da Cubbies beat the Bums in their series...in LA!...so, we have be on top of our game...

We went to see the 'Slim Man' out at Humphreys last eve...with our amigos, them Fishers from Maine...this cool cat and his band, are groovy...we even went out and shimmied like the old times...Boss couldn't believe that the Horse still had moves...yet...I had to pass on the day's golf...ah, somebody over served me...

Might this be a good week?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
