It's the weekend, kids...very bright sunny morning is greeting us in the Marina...what's not to love?...a bike ride throughout the area is in the books...as we will enjoy this beautiful weather...it's not been this way for a while...it's been the May gray, in April thang...so much for the upcoming...what has been happening over in DC?....

The NBA...these play in games, are nothing more than money grabbers...well, shoot, what isn't in that area of sport?...why do you play 82 games and have to play more?...seems to me that is enough to establish who is in the top 8...no mas...

The Friars lost game 1 in Houston...every time I say Houston, I think of that song by Dean Martin...anyhoo, when it got to crunch time, the brilliant brass brought out Matsui to pitch for us...game over...will they ever figure this out?...

Recall I said I played really well at golf, after a couple of weeks off?...yes, well, I was a spaz yesterday...including 4 straight 6's...yes, kids...4 straight...hate that number...like 4's...

OK, back to the NBA....their real playoffs start today...and this is when the teams actually play D...the cats get real pushy, too...techs are a coming...it's kind of good...kind of...well, not all play D, Luka will float about...

Got this memo from the Boss...she is planning (already) another Cosmo trip...not sure the dates yet...going east young man, going east...

We have a fledgling Friday Market out our doorstep...and to counter the words of trump, the egg prices there have soared!....get this, $14.99 for a dozen!...man oh man...he says the prices have dropped....ah, from what?...

Have to say this, too....out at the club...where many are Repubs...really...but NO ONE is buying trump anymore...NOBODY!...it is amazing...wonder if he can feel the heat...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
