Happy Easter?


It is supposed to be the day of celebration...Easter...as the cries of the Christians 'He has risen', have been the major norm of the day...judging by the apathy of the people now, especially in the United States...the mood is of now sorrow...the headlines of my 23 sources, NONE dealt with Easter...NONE!...it was a sidelight....why?...the daily down beat of the country, that we ALL are living through...one could pray for change and enlightenment...but, there is this feeling of doom, that permeates our America, that we love so dearly...

Judge more by the massive crowds that marched yesterday...the ANTI-TRUMP ones...all over the Nation...here in San Diego, the protesters were in the 10,000 range...probably way more than that...yes, the lines that marched, were seemingly endless...many have their own agenda as to why...as there are many reasons to show rebellion...for moi, not since the Vietnam War, have I seen the disgust and displeasure of an administration ...as showcased by the people...of all ages, religions, race, and points of motivation...the name given was the '50501 march'...

The mid-term election can not come fast enough...as those who didn't vote last, will surely do so now...as they have seen and felt the way of this president...

And...

The NBA...the best of seven series have begun in the playoffs...tickled I was, as the Lakers got pummeled AT HOME, by the TWolves...it was a fun game to watch, if you are not a LA fan...

In MLB...Just as tickling, was the fact that the Rangers beat the Bums in the bottom of the 9th...hooray...and then, the other feeling of disgust...the Friars got beat again to them Astros...we need our sick and hurt guys back...in the worst way...

That word DISGUST again...the college players and their very corrupt NIL money...that they get to switch schools to 'play' for their money earned...collegiate sports, via D-1, is as unscrupulous as it gets...the rich alumni run rampant...and DOMINATE sports...it's the reason that many big time coaches get out of the profession...ask the Baylor hoop coach...where all 8 of his 'scholarship guys' have left...for more NIL $...

It was date night for the Boss and I...as we went to Little Italy for dinner...man, I must tell you...talk about THE area for dining...it is slammed...fuggit about trying to park there...take an Uber/Lyft...or cabbie...we tried a new one, 'Roman Wolves'...it was awesome and will return...not cheap, mind you...but delicious...which kind of broke our diets...once in a blue moon, it's OK...so says me...

I can't find this answer...the reason for the move of the deported people to El Salvador, rather than the firstly mentioned Guantanamo, is what?...BTW, the latest Icetapo buses filled with said people turned around from going to the airport...SCOTUS has stepped in...perhaps, they should step in and remove said squatter...

Out of curiosity...were there marches in your city?...

It's Sunday and yes, time for the 'Monster Sudoku!'...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
