April Fools

The one most amazing thing I have noticed today...the beginning of April...like the 1st...in ALL of my 23 sources this am...is that no one is in a joking mood...nope, no April Fools jokes...really...did see one on Facebook, but that was all...we are living in, and trying to survive a monstrous 3 months of a presidency that is stifling the way we live...I wish I was joking...

The taxes (tariffs) that trump has levied on the rest of the fortified countries of goods and services...is simply mind boggling...he sits his fat arse in his chair, babbles about nothing...then does his signature move, of signing into law....his latest tax on yet another nation...dude, try Ozempic... 

Perhaps, one of the best pix of the year...is with him...and his good buddy, Kid Rock...who was adorned with a bright red giddy up...that's a pair to draw to...

Let's stroll about...

The MLB world is on it's toes about...a new wooden bat...the 'torpedo bat'...that has the weight of it, in the 'prime hitting zone' of the wood...the pundits have taken off on the subject...'it's good for the game' they say...as the season started abruptly with them Damn Yankees hitting a ton of taters...vs the Brew Crew...in NY, a very small park...cut it any way you want...Milwaukee has bad pitchers, or, the resurgent Bronx Bombers are all that...something smells to me...I gots a feeling' that the league better inspect them tools...

The headlines should be...the Friars are 5-0!...first time ever, I think...as they (we) beat the Guardians of the Indians, 7-2...

The final 4 for the ladies...Texas, UConn, South Carolina, and UCLA...almost chalk...and for the guys...Houston, Auburn, Duke, and Florida...these are chalk...all #1 seeds...the Horse had 2 of them...Duke and Florida...my 3rd team, Mich St fell to Auburn, cuz they couldn't shoot the rock...

The Horse was 1 under after 5...in the sprinkles...then the rain hit, as did I, much too often...still, a great start, and it was definitely Oregon weather...go figure...

Back to DC...

I am kind of disappointed  at my readership...as very few commented on the trump takedown of the IHS...Indian Health Service...guess if it doesn't affect you, well...you know...

So much talk about trump running for a 3rd term...as it is negated in the Constitution...which he wants to amend...like in so many ways...if, somehow, he were to get that changed...speculation here...not only would he be ancient, and horribly obese, but that would mean we could have O'Bama back and right this sinking ship...

The voting system...I simply LOVE the mail in ballot...no standing in line...have time to study the issues...then mark as I see fit...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

Fire, is really what I am referring to...the latest in ungodly posts by trump...where he is sending out hidden messages to his followers ...and this one, is the worst of all...TIME... he calls it the 'UNIFIED REICH'. .. you do know his passion for the way Hitler, overwhelmed the German people prior to the WWII...that he started...the Third Reich...some might say, that this was an oversight...nope, the way of trump, is NOT MISSING the SIGNS ...
