The Sounds of Silence


Pardon me boys, Paul and Simon....but, sleeping in the desert is like their title song...'The Sounds of Silence'...guess it's not exact, but close...all we hear are the birds and well, other creatures of the desert...in lieu of our norm in the city...cars, screamers, alarms...you know the drill...police sirens, and or fireman alarms...

Kind a nice, but I don't sleep without noise anymore...go figure...

Bad day for them Ducks in hoops play...as the guys and gals went down... and are out of the March Madness...the guys, the 3 I said to think about, Duke, MSU, and Florida, are still in...the gals?...no upsets yet...sure seems like UConn has a very tall starting lineup...

Have not watched much...as we have been busy...in the 'spare' time, we hit the pool...like most everyone here in this RV site...people from all over the country...Michigan, Wisconsin, Oregon, Illinois....to name a few...+ all are getting very red...ha ha...

Must tell you this...we are definitely in trump territory...Maga this and Maga that...this is probably our last venture here....we bought a couple of hats from a local 'comedian', who was totally a trumper...and Boss set him straight...the hats are cool, he was not...

There is a sign that I see too often...trump and quit your whining...words to that effect...good luck guys...

Heat?...I think I saw 99* yesterday....egads, too much for us...isn't this spring?...

Today, we head back to Cali...Indio, for a stopover...due to the prognosticated heat, there....we are unhooking and staying in the Casino...a gift to ourselves for the last nite of the vacay...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
