99 Minutes

Wasn't that about the length of the flicks of yesteryear?...well, around that...an hour and a half...for all youse mathematically challenged...that was 90 minutes...so, trump did his speech to Congress a laboriously 9 minutes longer than an old time movie...

Let's be frank here...a fresh coat of paint on his noggin...+ somehow bleaching what's left of his toupe...wearing a suit that must have expanded everything...he stands and rambles on...on and on...and on...nobody really cares or listens...full of lies and partial innuendos...we know this score...it does not change...some people, try to disrupt his timing...ha ha...get kicked out for doing so...some just walk out...some hold up signs...he doesn't care...SOS...surprised?...naw...

It's about this time of the really elongated season of the NBA, that I start watching...the damned Lakers are better than I thought...the Mavs are decimated, with the traded for Brow out...and now, Kyrie goes out for the season with a knee tear...the Cavs and the Celts in the east, going bonkers...+ what is happening in Phoenix...the inmates are rioting over their coach...it's a problem, kids...when the players make a whole lot of cash, more than the coaches do...not sure how they do it...

The Horse is always interested in what is going on in hoops back in Oregon...but, dang, I can't figure out the leagues anymore...how on earth, can a district have the teams in different  leagues, and on different levels of play?...as in Salem?...makes no sense to moi...

You recall this?...11 years ago today...John Travolta...introduced Idina Menzel on the Oscars Show as Adele Dazeem...close...blame it on the teleprompter...

So I got schooled about Anora...it is a gal's name...popular in Europe, I was blatantly told...I knew a boy named Sue...but never a woman named Anora...in my 30 years of teaching, I never ran across anyone named Anora...boy or girl...

Speaking of Cosmo...don't care how many times I watch Seinfeld...but, Kramer makes me belly laugh every time he does his schtick...

Hmmm...just how are these trump tariffs (taxes) benefitting us...the USA?...go ahead, sign in the line...that says you are buying the over priced, due to tariffs, new car...just the beginning, kids...of course, we all know that...

Did a reversal, and am going out to Singing Hills today...the rain will not hit...fingers crossed...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
