The Dimple



Alas, we need a break from the circus show...don't we?...as the west coast weather has us cuddled up inside our wigwams...some rain, some snow, some sleet, and mostly COLD!...yes, the temp is all a conducive factor for us...what's cold to some, is not so much for others...BUT, add the wind to the mix and it seems downright winter like...yup, even in south SoCal...

Needless to say, the idear of hitting the links is outta the question...sloshing about, in the mud, the blood, and the beer...it's just not worth it...wonder what the PGA is going to do with the Genesis Open, set to start today out at Torrey Pines?...have not heard yet...

I was just thinking...egads, I know....stop that Horse...a supposed attractive part of a person's face...is the fact that they may have a dimple or two....really...the Horse has dimples...and he is cute...right, I know that is debatable...wonder if AI can add them to whomever needs 'em?...imagine of the KFam had their docs add those to the manufactured faces they have...

No, but really...what I am referring to...is the dimples on a golf ball....get this, they are not regulated as to how many there can be on the spheroid...originally, when the game was started...there were NO dimples...ah, but technology appeared, and the ball changed...not only in dimples, but what it was made out of...recall the Balatta?...now, they are 2 to 5 piece make up...some feel like a rock and some are considered super soft...as I jokingly told the Boss, when she first started the game...'you have a restricted flight ball'...anger is not a good attribute of hers...

The dimples...ah yes, the manufacturers...have them anywhere from 200-500 per sphere...the number one ball, the Titelist...has different DIMPLES for each type of theirs...the more the dimples, the more the ball spins...I guess...as their fav, the Pro V1 has 388 dimples...their cheapest, the Tour Soft has 342 dimples...the average for all golf balls is 336...hmmm, one company has 1,070 dimples on it's brand...The Dimplot 1070...

I don't really care that much...as I rarely keep a ball longer than a 9 hole stretch...people steal my balls...but, I would like to try the Dimplot...ah, just for fun...they still in business?...

Back to the circus...your guy trump, er FOTUS....said he had a 'good talk' with Putin (via the telephone)...about the Ukraine War that he started...an hour and half of misery, thinks moi...and Putin must have told his very own pawn, what he WANTS AND DEMANDS to stop that war...shortly after, trump called Prez Zelensky...and gave him what he had to give up....like land, to stop the war that Putin started...makes sense?...right...not at all...the Beatles had a song that epitomizes all of the stuff that trump dreams up, 'Misery'...and more...the European Nations, en masse, are worried about this 'dirty deal'...listen, trump, the WHOLE world is watching you...

Speaking of Russia...the NHL...the world hockey league...that I never watch...BUT, they are having an all star game...different than others...where there are 4 teams made up of countries...and that's the battle...I think they are USA, Canada, Finland, and Sweden...OK then...there are more than 50 players that are in the league, and from Russia...but, they have no team...what gives?...the Ukraine War...so, they are denied a team...hey, if FOTUS was commissioner of the league, Russia would be in it...

Our million dollar dishwasher (Bosch) has been on the fritz for about a week now...you know, I don't even know if we miss it...perhaps, we should take it out and put a freezer in it's place...

Today the Senate will vote in RFK, Jr as the head of whatever...no shots division...some day, one day, these republican senators will rue this past 2 weeks...mark my words...

Having to stare at FOTUS babbling on incoherently...I noticed this...his nose is growing...perhaps, a reaction to his face paint...or, because he is lying too often...

And so it goes (grows), this 13th of February, 2025...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
